The "Chilean drug-trafficking Barbie" dies along with her two children in a violent traffic accident.

The "Chilean drug-trafficking Barbie" dies along with her two children in a violent traffic accident.

The notorious "Chilean drug lord Barbie" (Karen Soto) from Frutillar lost her life in a serious car accident on the highway that connects the commune with Tegualda, in Fresia, on Tuesday morning. Two of her children, ages 4 and 18, also died after suffering serious injuries and were taken to nearby hospitals.

The deputy commissioner of the Carabineros in Frutillar, Lieutenant Iván Tiznado, reported that the child was transported by helicopter to the Base Hospital in Puerto Montt, where efforts were made to stabilize his condition. Despite medical efforts, "The child died at around 6:40 p.m." and his brother at “22:42 hours” in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Likewise, two other men, aged 46 and 47, suffered multiple injuries and were hospitalized at the same location, where they are being monitored.

A life marked by crime

The woman, known as the "Chilean Narco Barbie," was a member of a criminal gang operating in Frutillar and Santiago. This organization was dismantled in 2023 by the Carabineros' OS-7.

While participating in her criminal acts, the woman used social media platforms to share photographs that reflected her lifestyle. In these images, she appeared next to objects reminiscent of the well-known doll and was driving a pink car, according to BioBioChile.

The responsibility for investigating the traffic incident was assigned to the Carabineros' Traffic Accident Investigation Section (SIAT).
